THE CHALLENGE
Berlin thrives on cultural diversity, yet is so fragmented that many independent and underrepresented voices struggle to gain visibility. Existing event-discovery tools are outdated, often favoring the mainstream—making it difficult for locals and visitors to find meaningful, inclusive experiences.
THE SOLUTION
We developed Circle, a prototype platform that centralizes event information, improves accessibility to the information, and makes it easy to share events and allow users create experiences together through intuitive features. It promotes inclusivity within Berlin’s vibrant cultural landscape.

A curated feed and search filter help users surface voices that reflect their interests—making it easy to explore content through identity, context, and relevance. Users get a personalized feed with event recommendations based on their likes, follows, and nearby locations,

WHAT I'VE LEARNED
Leadership
Working on this project was both challenging and meaningful. I learned to guide the team toward a shared vision with structure and care, while turning insights into meaningful features and supporting the team emotionally and strategically.
Empathy
Recognizing when the team felt overwhelmed allowed me to create space for rest and reflection—reminding me that sustainable progress is more valuable than perfection.
